We spent a little longer in Zurich on our way back from Grindelwald, before heading to the French Riviera. It reminded me of big cities in the US except that it was very clean.
We visited a pretty botanical garden in the middle of the city. Even though it’s September, it still had lots of greenery and even some flowers.
The next day we walked to Lake Zurich before catching a plane to Nice, France. I thought the lake was peaceful and quite lovely….I’d be happy to visit Zurich again just for the lake.
We also walked by the world’s oldest vegetarian restaurant….I’d have enjoyed eating there, but everyone else loves their meat!
Sad to say goodbye, Switzerland! We loved our time here and are so glad we were able to visit this beautiful country.
